Recipharm’s chief financial officer (CFO) Björn Westberg has resigned from his position with the company but will remain to serve until Recipharm’s full-year report comes out on February 23, 2017. A search process has begun to appoint a new CFO.
Thomas Eldered, chief executive officer of Recipharm, said: “We are disappointed to be losing Mr Westberg and we would like to sincerely thank him for the significant contributions he has made to Recipharm in the past 10 years. He has been a strong leader and has brought invaluable expertise to the company.”
In related news, Recipharm has appointed Anders Högdin and Aaron Small to lead its pharmaceutical development service business in the US and Europe.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Mr. Högdin will head the business development and sales team within development services in Europe. Before joining Recipharm in 2015, Mr. Högdin was employed at Syntagon, APL, and OnTarget Chemistry in various roles.
Focused on Recipharm’s North American business, Mr. Small will work closely with the Recipharm facility in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Mr. Small has been part of Recipharm’s business management function since 2012.
